Original Issue: It seems that the user list in chatroom is not really showing who is actually there. It seems to sometimes work and sometimes not. I haven't fully checked this yet on the code but wanted to confirm this ias an actual ssue first.

My guess is that this might have something to do with the node.js Drupal presence notification as opposed to actual presence. I'm not sure.

I saw this issue while googling: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8661758/advice-on-implementing-presen...

Revised Issue: After observing this on my site for some time now, it appears that the chatroom user list gets updated when a new users joins or leaves a chatroom. So it works fine for when a new users joins a chatroom (=user added to list) and when a users leaves a chatroom (=user gets removed from the list). The issue seems to occur when someone just enters the chatroom: it appears blank; as if new one is in the room.

sorry, i need more info. no idea at all how to follow up this issue report.

The chat feature that alows members to see who is currently online isnt functioning properly. Over the past few days when there are upwards of 5 people logged inthe online users list will show none or one..2..etc. Today i noticed member "Ben" was chatting but he didnt show as online.

Still seeing this error. Not sure what else to say beyond the above. Are you no seeing this issue with more than 5 users in chatroom?

Title:User List Does Not Seem to Correctly Identify User PresenceNew Chatroom User Doesn't See Current Users in Chatroom User List

I revised the issue report. The bug seems to be specifically related to the initial user list when a user joins: it appears blank.

I am having the same exact problem! Did anyone manage to figure this out ?
