Hi,

Not sure if its a entity ref bug... but I encounter the error only when trying to create a new node without eg, field_ref=1,2. The error seems to go away with the parameter in the url.

I'm able to reproduce this (line 671 of entityreference.module) with the latest nightly dev in situations where no query string is provided or when reproducing #1811392: No values populated when 'Entity selection mode' is set to 'Organic groups'.

In my setup, the warning is only dislayed, when the entityreference field widget is set to "autocomplete (tags style)" AND the parameters are not set by URL.

Looks like these are similar issues.. #1522172: Invalid argument supplied for foreach in entityreference_field_widget_form()
