Is there a way to break this up $content .= drupal_render($variables['content']);. I want to wrap the username and content in a div and leave the avatar out of that div. I know you have the display suite integration but i already have enough modules running and don't really want another one for something as simple as this.

Just installed DS, and i like it and am going to use it. So this might be a feature request or something? I can imagine not everyone wanting to install DS for this case.
