Hi, I'm not able to assign the badges to the private messages. This is what i tried, i went to menu->tab menu badges->messages and
assigned both the private messages options one-by-one but nothing happened. I can't the see the notifications with badges. Where am i going wrong? Please guide.
Yes, i have created one demo user and send the messages to the account. When i loggin to that the account i see the messages notification in the default way, no badges whatsoever. Same happens if send the message from that account to the admin and login as admin.
The tab menu badges are meant for tabs specifically, not links in the menu. You need to edit the Messages menu item and select a badge there if you want the badge to appear up in your header.

spacena CreditAttribution: spacena commentedZengenuity, need one more favor. I'm still getting the default count along with the badges. How to remove the default message count? Thanks.

zengenuity CreditAttribution: zengenuity commentedYou have to create your own menu item. Disable the one created by Privatemsg.
