please explain, do I understand correctly that if Recruiter is distribution, it means that it only support installing, and there are no updates/upgrades for future working site and so on. Especially when I could change for example some taxonomies etc.

hi, as a distribution Recruiter provides upgrade paths for most changes.

i couldn't come up with an official definition, but a plain install profile wouldn't do so. it is the features modules that come with the distribution that allow you to keep up to date with the upgrades. http://drupal.org/project/recruiter_features
