Fatal error when installing cm_slideshow and related modules

When trying to install cm_slideshow and related modules, I get the following error message (from the live site, not my local server...):
"An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 200 Debugging information follows. Path: http://www.graduatedatabase.com/authorize.php?batch=1&render=overlay&id=... StatusText: OK ResponseText: Fatal error: Call to undefined function nodejs_send_content_channel_message() in /home/ejmarais/public_html/sites/all/modules/nodejs/nodejs_watchdog/nodejs_watchdog.module on line 46"
I deleted nodejs and installed the latest version. I am not a programmer and new to Drupal.
