I can't seem to find anything to turn the previous/next buttons on or off in the field display settings. They are missing in all the galleries in a site I'm working on (see http://th.echoleaf.com/projects/roof-installs - that gallery has 16 thumbs). They're not hidden via css - there's no html for the buttons at all in the page! I've used it before on another site and did not experience this - any ideas on fixing this?

You are using jquery latest, not sure that is supported by drupal you may want to start by switching to the jQuery shipped by drupal.
