Flag-related projects

There are many modules that use or complement Flag.

  • Rules Flag: This module provides integration of 'Rules' and 'Flag' modules. It adds rules events after flagging or unflagging an entity, and the event action to create a new flagging entity. It adds rules examples with the events and actions.
  • Views: Create lists of flagged content.
  • Flag anonymous: Show configurable message "Login or Register to use this flag" to anonymous users instead of flag link.
  • Flag Lists: Allows users to create custom lists.
  • Flag Weights: Add weights to Flags to make items orderable.
  • DraggableViews: Makes the Views draggable to make items orderable.
  • Flag Friend: A pre-built flag for marking other users as friends with Flag.
  • Flag Abuse: A pre-built flag for marking offensive content, plus administrative features.
  • Flag, Hide & Mute: Adds functionality for users to hide individual nodes, such as site-wide announcements or advertisments, and/or to suppress all posts by "foe" users they do not wish to see
  • Flag Terms: Adds the ability to flag taxonomy terms (Drupal 6; this is part of Flag on Drupal 7).
  • Flag Files: Adds the ability to flag files.
  • Flag Service: Allows Flag to be accessed via a web services interface through the Services module.
  • DLike: Provides a 'Like' button using a flag.
  • Conditional Flags: Provides an extra API to Flag module, for custom conditions between flags.
  • Organic Groups Flag Integration: Allows Group Owners to override settings and access permissions for flags on a group-by-group basis.
  • Context Flag: Allows the use of Flags as conditional triggers for use with the Context module.
  • Flag Plus adds two separate capabilities: (1) A convenient admin form for viewing and setting the applicability of all flags by entity type and bundle in one place, which is particularly handy when new content types are added (saves editing each Flag); (2) A simple system for rectangular strip banners (page decorator or banner block) as Flag state indicators with per-Flag messages and style settings for each banner's text, background, and border color, and whether to show a banner when a Flag is true, false, or both.
  • Flag Notify A simple but flexible module for email notification of site activity that optionally integrates with Organic Groups (subscription to own comments' replies, to all comments or to all activity in a group).
  • Flag per Node A simple module for toggling flagging permissions on a per node basis, with default settings per content type.
  • Flag Search API Module that provides indexing of flags using search api.
