Related to #1742942: 7.x-3.4 Upgrade is cancelling boolean operator settings and other boolean issues, but I think this is possibly different as it's not mentioned specifically and resetting does not fix this.

Set a view to Published or Admin filter. You see in the live preview what you expect. Save the view and view the end result and the view is empty.

I "fixed" this by working around it: Changing the filter to Published and setting it to "yes". Saved the view and looked at end result. The view worked now as expected.

To follow up, I removed Published filter and re-added the Published or Admin filter anew, and saved the view. Now the behavior was like before: visible in live preview, but empty on end result display.

Noting that this issue #1748526: 7.x-3.5 upgrade affecting some Views with time-based cache enabled also seems to "fix" the display of the problematic view (without removing the Published or Admin filter).

This should be fixed with views 3.5

In general please also always try to attach a view export, because it contains nearly always valuable information.
One example would have been the fact that you probably have caching enabled on the view

Thanks, I will next time. (Normally I'm predisposed to avoid the "here's what I have" issue report because it tends to cry out "fix my problem!" But here it would have potentially helped reproducing the issue, in hindsight.)
