I just read an article here saying overlay is unstable with drupal distros, is that the fact when a site goes live and we have many people using it?
Here's the link --> http://groups.drupal.org/node/63123
Can somebody advise me on how to proceed with this when i go live? how do i disable the overlay?

The overlay and colorbox module are of course optional. So you can disable them as soon as you have installed the Recruiter distribution.
