I have followed the instructions here http://community.aegirproject.org/content/importing-complete-drupal-plat... but have not had any success as of yet...
The site I am attempting to move is currently live, so I am trying to create a copy of it in Aegir, with a subdomain... The site is also a stand alone install using sites/default, so I edited all instances of 'sites/default' to the proper directory name using phpmyadmin. I also changed the database name so edited that in settings.php, but I'm still getting the 'site offline' error when browsing to its new url. Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks

I had something like this last night importing two sites, it basically ended up that it didn't allow the db user/pass from the site being imported to work on the new server - so I changed the db name/pass in settings.php to a user that had access to any db on the server and worked fine then.

The last time I ran such an import following the instructions in the wiki, everything worked just fine. If this is still a problem on the latest stable Aegir, please re-open with more detailed error logs.
