The Video.js takes on a range of display needs for the Video module, but some users might need reference images as placeholders. If this module is to provide that, the default image in sites/all/modules/video/wysiwyg_plugins/video/images/video-place-holder.gif is not a reference to any known aspect ratio, so it would represent a distortion of someone's source.
For for what it's worth, I'm attaching some few alternate images that are based on 240, HD, NTSC, and PAL. (Note that there is only one reference for True 240 because the other pixel widths don't produce a whole pixel derivative.)

Jorrit CreditAttribution: Jorrit commentedThanks for your input. Work on the WYSIWYG integration part keeps getting postponed because more important issues come up. When I start working on the WYSIWYG part I'll put this in too.

I'd be happy to review this as patch right away however.
