Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
For our first Openaid Project we need to add a category to the project node type.
This seems a very generic feature, if we build it as a patch to the distro, would it be accepted?
Version-wise, i would understand if it ended up as the first patch to 7.x-2.0
Rough specs:
- It would be a Taxonomy Term field, Free Tagging.
- There is a block under the map that shows a list of all categories.
- The Projects view would be able to handle /project/Category1 (and the categories would link to that, when they are uses)
- If you do not fill in the Categories, nothing changes

That all sounds good. Yes, we'd be happy to add that patch.

cedeweyHi batje,
I applied the patch, but the vocabulary does not get added to the profile. I would take another look at the patch and try again.

cedeweyI'm closing this as active development is being channeled to OpenAid 2. People are welcome to reopen the issue, update the patch and OA maintainers can apply it.
