It pulls the video alright, but none of the thumbnail formatters seem to be working.

Using latest dev, anywhere I set the teaser to other than "Video Player", no thumbnails are shown. I looked at the files folder and I see no images being pulled in.
The thumbnail shows up as a broken item and it points to an improper URL:

http://domain.com/sites/mysite/files/styles//public <----

Looking at the $data in views I see that no thumbnail path gets generated.

Well, apparently this all Vimeo's convoluted and bizarre API + Vimeo Pro limitations.

FOr ANYONE who runs into this: If you look at the API help forums in Vimeo you see MANY posts about this issue when using Vimeo Pro. Nothing these guys can do as far as I can tell and all this is 100% on Vimeo's plate.

Closing as "won't fix"

Anybody come up with a workaround for this? Obviously we can add an image field and manually create a thumbnail, but that's such a pain.

Since it's been a while since this was originally opened, I'm re-opening to see if any development has been made on the module side or Vimeo api side to allow this to function correctly. If not, then feel free to close it back up.
