Under 'Paths to be excluded while generating segments' Ive added both the following:

admin/structure/taxonomy/forums_2 doesnt work
admin/*

However mysite.com/admin/structure/taxonomy/forums_2 still has breadcrumbs.

Note - Ive given administer taxonomy permissions to a user with a certain role, so my standard theme is being used this user, not a separate administration theme.

Hi,

It seems you misunderstood the purpose of that option. That option is for excluding URLs to be included as segments of the breadcrumb; it is not intended for excluding the breadcrumb from appearing in some URLs.

Please note Easy Breadcrumb generates a normal Drupal block, you can use the features Drupal do provides for blocks, such as including/excluding it by URLs, roles, etc.
