Also clicking on "continue shopping" or the X does not close the notification. It stays open no matter what.
I see the problem with firefox and chrome.
EDIT: The bug is only present when the demo content is not installed. With demo content everything works as expected

The notification is displayed correctly but the close (X) and "continue shopping" buttons still don't do anything. The notification just stays open. Perhaps this is not the themes fault but has something to do with the kickstart code?

The add to cart confirmation has been created as a separate module.

Please update add to cart confirmation module to dev version as Nov-14th.
