hi

i am a new drupal user and having looked at the view slideshow project on drupal i thought it was pretty neat and use it to show videos for my website. i have installed and is using the embed media field module and have just installed the views module which has the views slideshow option that comes with it. i have enabled everything and update.php but my videos still don't display like the way it is on the drupal views slideshow project. do i need to uninstall the embed media field module...or beat my pc with my worn out flipflops? any help is much appreciated. thanks.

I'm pretty sure views slideshow works with images and not videos.

works fine with videos, or any other kind of content. http://drupalhub.org/videos

there's a bug so that it won't currently work with teasers, so you have to use the fields you want instead. but that will be fixed as soon as i get around to writing the update query to fix it.

for the original problem: i need more information. (unless it's that you're trying to use teasers, which is a known issue).

Are you sure its not your configuration of the slideshow view? Maybe posting it would facilitate more responses.
