/admin/commerce/products/6/delete --> the images are very big, probably due to image showing as original picture in the display settings.

this is not a bug, it's feature request
and i don't know how you can get there in Kickstart (ofcourse without knowing the the deletion paths for products)

here is a commit that re-arranges the Default view mode for the product types in Kicktart, including using a single and smaller image (thumbnail)
