Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice?

I have the create content block working on my group pages.

If a user has access to create a certain node, then the link to create that node properly shows up for them, within the group they are assigned to.

What I'm noticing though, is that the same link shows up, in groups they are not assigned to.

It's not a problem, if the user uses that link, as they are restricted, at node creation, to the groups they are assigned to. From a usability perspective though, it's a bit confusing, and I'm wondering if there is a way that I can limit this link to only the groups a particular user is subscribed to.

I may indeed be missing something simple with configuration, but can't seem to readily find a solution.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you're running in to this issue #1671122: og_node_create_links() should respect group context when checking permissions

Does the patch there solve the problem for you? If not, can you tell me what version of the og module you're currently using.

The patch linked in the above comment should fix this problem and has been comitted to the OG module so closing this issue.
