Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.Hi, I have many files in a directory, most of them are pdf or xls files with long names (i can hear you, no way to make them shorter), th problem is that th widget only have a thumbnail view with truncated names, it's very hard to select the right file in this case because there is no preview, only the name to recognize them.
Is there an add a list view to the widget?

I too would like to know how to make the library tab in the field widget to display a list instead of thumbnails.

arthurf CreditAttribution: arthurf commentedAttached is an extremely rough patch for this. I basically copied the current thumbnail code and created an outline for the list code. Ideally this patch would provide a setting for the media browser view which is list or thumbnail. Secondly as you can see from the screenshot it needs some formatting help. Outside of that it does work for me. This may serve as a starting point for this functionality.
