For end users its more disturbing/confusing than saying anything useful. A none technical user don't care about whats going on with his video, he just wants to see it working.
If there are more than one conversions, there will be multiple messages apart from the node save message ... if I were a customer I would guess it's a bug ;)

osmanI totally agree. This message could be optional.
In my case filefield_paths module adds the same message for the updated file name. But that's not this not related with this issue.
