When I apply a custom theme in Step #2 of admin/config/system/htmlmail (or even choose Bartik as the email theme) the content of the sent email is:
404 Not Found
The server can not find the requested page:
dev.cultureworks.ca/echo (port 80)Please forward this error screen to dev.cultureworks.ca's WebMaster.
Not sure who or why it's trying to access /echo ? Is this related to the echo module?
I have Echo 7.x-1.9 enabled.
I've copied the email templates to /sites/all/themes/email :
htmlmail.tpl.php
htmlmail--htmlmail.tpl.php
Flushed caches.
Reviewed both server access and errors logs but found nothing.
In admin/config/system/mailsystem "HTML Mail module class" is set to "HTMLMailSystem". Theme to render the emails is default (also tried my custom email theme).
In admin/config/system/htmlmail I've tried Step #3 "Post-filtering" set to "Unfiltered" and my own Text Format "HTML Email".
I wouldn't ask if I wasn't completely stumped.

renatogHi @mlecha, how are you?
This issue is old but can help other users with this problem.
Well, I've seen errors similar to older versions of the project.
To fix this error please update for 7.x-2.70 version (if you are using the D7 or if you are using D8 please use the 8.x-3.0-alpha1 (version released 27 March 2018)
