Hi,
Here is my understanding of how this works. Domain Access in essence limits content to access via a filter.
a.domain.tld ----> Gets content designated for a.domain.tld and for All Affiliates which can be further categorized e.g. cows, horses, ponies etc
b.domain.tld ----> Gets content designated for b.domain.tld and for All Affiliates which can be further categorized e.g. cows, horses, ponies etc
c.domain.tld ----> Gets content designated for c.domain.tld and for All Affiliates which can be further categorized e.g. cows, horses, ponies etc
and so on and so forth.
Lets say b.domain.tld has a home page to which you want to show a View (by making a block view) that shows a combination of content from a.domain.tld, b.domain.tld or c.domain.tld but do not want to designated the content visible to All Affiliates?
I would have imagined that Domain Views would have had an override that bypassed Domain Access in this instance? Am I wrong or right or what am I missing?
To note, the site content changes daily by upto 50 nodes a day all managed by a single person so looking for the easiest way out.
Help, stuck on a sort of major project.
Thanks.
Kahenya
P.S. And if Sandy is kicking you rear, I wish you all the best. Hope it comes to pass.

agentrickardThis can be done using the Advanced > Query settings in Views and disabling SQL rewriting. But that can open security issues, so it is use at your own risk.

Sorry, on the road the last couple of days. Had come across this but was hoping to avoid it but it does seem to be the only solution for the moment. I'm guessing a sort of override module needs to be built to overcome this for regional content sites.
Do appreciate the time.
Thanks.
