Checkbox not appearing in edit screen of content [#1829520]

Hi,

I have installed the module - 7.x-1.5, drupal 7.16 and enabled it, but the checkbox is not appearing in the edit tab. I have cleared all caches. Any suggestions?

Two ideas.

1. navigate over to your config (*/admin/config/content/exclude_node_title) to enable it on specific content types.

If you set it to "All Nodes" of a particular content type you'll see the change instantly. If you set it to 'User Defined Nodes' you may have to....

2. run cron

Thanks for the suggestions, but neither 1 nor 2 have worked. When configuring exclude_node_title to enable it on specific content types, should it normally be ok to have all nodes selected and then none of the checkboxes selected so that it appears on every node regardless of whether its full view, teaser or node form? I have tried using the default set up as well as ticking the boxes and using different settings eg. none, all nodes, user defined nodes but nothing seems to get it going. I think I may need to uninstall and reinstall. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

I'm having the same problem. No checkbox is showing on node edit pages. I've selected "All Nodes" of a particular content type. I am able to remove all titles by checking a box under "Exclude From:", but that doesn't help.

There is a set of permissions under 'Exclude node title' that may be causing you grief (especially if you're not user 1). Other than that and the suggestions I made earlier I can't think of anything. I made the suggestions because that is how I resolved what I perceived to be the same issue.

I used this module for a bit, and it seemed to work some of the time (Or on certain pages but not others). I eventually gave up on it and used Context / Delta / Delta blocks to mess with node titles and their locations.

The main reason I stopped using it was because sometimes it would hide the node title from the browser, so the browser had no idea what page to was on so instead of showing "PAGE TITLE | SITENAME" it just showed " | SITENAME"
