I am unable to edit my story page from front end.

I have an option in manage submissions where i have an edit option, but it is giving an error while saving .

It is something like

Validator/Element type mismatch.
Element: image
Element type:file
type required by validator: text or password or textarea
-------------------------------------------------------
If you are not the developer, please contact the website administrator regarding this error.

Please give a solution for the problem
right now i'm using by Phpmyadmin. kindly give me a solution hwo to do it from front end like from manage submissions
