Thanks for this module it was a real lifesaver.

I have multiple sites that this allows a reasonable user experience.

I also have found several howto instructions that reference this module.

My preferred way would be to integrate it directly into Commerce (due to the very few number of codelines of this module). I've created #1842400: Allow immediate login at the end of anonymous checkout to achieve just that, so let's see how it goes before deciding anything else.
