I noticed that the documentation link on the project page is broken. I'd suggest we create a true Drupal.org documentation page for both profiler and profiler builder. We can then work together on get this info into good shape.
I'd also like to see a link on the admin page of the module linking to the documentation. Obviously creating distros is generally beyond normal site builders but it doesn't hurt to give them easier access to all the help we can...

Especially with some other things out in the community like http://drupal.org/project/drush_ctex_bonus and the 2.x branch of Features this will start to be easier to accomplish.
That said I agree w/ the need for additional documentation. Want to fail through the latest version and generate docs off of it? I'd be happy to help fill them out as well.

This module creates a downloadable tar package that gives you a well made installation profile and associated drush make file based on the site its installed on. This is a fast, simple way of creating a distribution with options that take into account either local host development or drupal.org packaging scripts.
