It would be nice to have Panopoly WYSIWYG include Markdown.

barraponto CreditAttribution: barraponto commentedI'm working on Markdown module right now (I'm a co-mantainer) to get 7.x-2.x out ASAP. Particularly #1964892: Use PHP Markdown version 1.5 with namespace support since it is definitely a release blocker. And it would benefit a lot from Libraries-savvy developer reviews.

dsnopekOA2 actually solved this themselves - they have an oa_markdown module. Personally, I think we're already doing enough stuff in panopoly_wysiwyg and I'd rather see a panopoly_markdown module than adding more stuff to it. I'm going to close this, but if any of the other maintainers disagree, feel free to re-open!

lsolesen CreditAttribution: lsolesen commentedShouldnt we keep it open as a feature request for creating a contrib with this?

dsnopekWell... I think I'm going to close it. :-) Anyone can create that contrib module and I don't think any of the Panopoly maintainers have the time or interest to work on this now. And having fewer open issues would be nice!
