We would like to use the Imagefield Crop module to allow users to upload an image and crop it. This doesn't play nice with AIS though, since it needs to be output using the "None (original image)" style. Is there any way to make these two work together? Thanks.

You should be able to apply any image style plugins to the "adaptive" style, as you would with any other style. AIS will not interfere, or even notice.

The "adaptive" style outputs the original image because I think this is how it should work by default, but you should feel free to override any of the default image styles that come with AIS.
