I have a client with a large menu that we are using this module for. However, he would like to set it so that the first child links are also expanded into view, rather than only the root parent links. Is there a way we can set it so that parent links and first child links are shown and all other child links and submenu items are hidden until clicked?
Problem / Motivation
- Large menu solution

NaX CreditAttribution: NaX commentedI found Menu block and DHTML Menu work together nicely and Menu block has many advanced settings including depth. I had to fiddle with the settings of menu block a bit to make it work the way needed it to work.

I actually suggest that this gets documented on the DHTML project page. These two modules working together is very useful and powerful.

vuil@nax Thanks for the recommendation! But please don't set the issue's status to Needs review when you didn't upload a patch for the issue fix and/or for an additional feature decision.
I set the issue's category to Plan and status to Postponed until the first stable 8.x-1.x version release.
Everybody, please fill into the summary all the requested and need functionality which you want to be added into the new 8.x-1.x branch version. Thanks to everyone!

vuilI set the issue back to Active because this is the right status for the plan creation.
