In my understanding the author of a protected node should be able to view/edit own nodes without entering the password. Instead the user is redirected to the password-form when trying to access the own content.

AlexisWilke CreditAttribution: AlexisWilke commentedYes. The author is expected to be able to access the node without the password (assuming you gave him the right permissions.) I had someone else report a similar problem. If you can find what's wrong in the code, I'll be happy to patch the module.
Thank you.
