Hello,

can someone help me with this issue (urgently)?
I've made a site called www.goeletteinternational.com and the customer tells me that there are problems with the images: they don't show up, mainly in internet explorer I think. The problem is solved by clicking the "compatibility view" button next to the url address bar. However, I never encountered such a problem before and don't know how it can be solved permanently. I've read somewhere that I need to cleanup the html code? I don't know how this should be done: is there a module that cleans up the code automatically?

Another problem: often the slider on the frontpage doesn't appear, does anybody know why?

Many thanks for all your help/advise! (and sorry for my bad English...)

This is a well known bug in IE when using respond.js although its quite rare.

I can update Adaptivetheme 7.x-2.x to move respond.js to the footer, that should solve the issue, I have this ready tonight. I'll update this issue when its ready.

I just checked the code, try running the DEV version of AT 7.x-2.x, clear the cache and save the theme settings. In this version IE looses the responsive layout (which is OK) because I actually removed respond.js due to all the problems with it in IE.

Reality is IE8 and below don't need to be responsive since only Windows 7 phone would be affected, meaning it will display the desktop version of the site and there are so few Windows 7 phone users, so better to support the millions of IE 8 and below users on laptops and desktops in a more robust way.
