webchickDon't need two prepositions, webchick.

nod_Contextual links don't have a proper detach behavior. Sad panda will have to make it.
Wim LeersIs this a contextual link within the node title form? That sounds imposible.
I bet it's a contextual from the underlying page. Fixable in CSS, with z-indexes.
Wim LeersAs I said in #3, fixable with z-indexes. We've got much bigger problems to solve first though.
Wim LeersIf I install http://simplytest.me/project/spark/7.x-1.x, then try to reproduce it, I can't.
Wim LeersUntagging from sprint because the solution to this problem will change once #1879828: Per-entity "Quick edit" link — i.e.: the same interaction as the D8 version lands.
Wim LeersAs per #6.
Wim LeersNope, the problem still exists and is exactly the same. Reopening.
Wim LeersThis is in fact a Drupal core bug: #1102156: Z-Index inconsistency and overlapping.
Committed a temporary work-around until it's fixed in Drupal core: http://drupalcode.org/project/edit.git/commit/31a6713.
