hello

i have been using your module and it is a great help.
now that we have all products on the site, my client has decided to change the background of the images.
i wonder if there is a command or something to be able to rebuild all the images of a content type so i will change the originals on the server and i have not to crop again every one.
thanks a lot for any help to find this :)

Hi,

I think saving the image style again (without changing anything) would do the trick? Off course that's for all images using the style.

thanks @Matthijs :)

that it is a help but i turn it to a feature request... since i believe that it could be interesting to have it.
i imagine it as when you rebuild menus... or path alias... or when you clear cache with devel....
you know that a client will change things on design when the site is almost finish and, then, it can be very useful.
also, you can change the catalog look very fast (christmas, summer, fall, discount, etc)
it could be in the configuration form for this module, something like remake all images from manual crop.

but it is only a suggestion, since i dont know jet how to build it :)

also, when using your module (i am building a catalog for a online store with images used for different styles that i crop with your tool) i thought it would be a big help to have a background image (not the black color) to make a grid or a line to have the center ...
in the sense that i have to center images with different sizes and give similar spaces from the object to the margin.
i will investigate in this and if i find something useful, i will report.
similar to the omega theme for 960grid.
i am thinking on a 10px lines but in the omega theme they do it 12, 16 and 24.
i put a png from this theme to try you to understand me :)

thanks and very useful your module :)

Hi,

I'm sorry for the really delayed response. I'm pretty sure that clearing your site cache will also remove all cropped images, so an extra button is a bit overkill :-)

Could you open a new issue for your second request and explain it a bit more because I don't fully understand yet... You want some kind of grid on the image as cropping help (something like a set of rulers)?
