I spent a fair bit of time trying to figure out the 'use a shared folder' setting, before I realized that there appears to be a bug. When signed in as UID1, i cannot access shared folders, only the u1 folder.

ufku CreditAttribution: ufku commentedIMCE does not support using multiple separate folders. You use either a shared folder or a personal folder. However, if subfolder navigation is on, you can access subfolders of your main folder. For user#1 it is ideal to use file directory root to gain access to all folders under it. You should use / to specify the file directory root.

nitrospectide CreditAttribution: nitrospectide commentedI'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. My problem was that I had turned on 'use a shared folder', but when logged in as UID1, that doesn't seem to work. It doesn't use a shared folder, just the UID1 personal folder.

ufku CreditAttribution: ufku commentedthere is no configuration option to turn on 'shared folder' for user#1. You define the folder for user#1 and use it. (in settings page it says "Your upload directory" for user#1)
