I love the UI for this module but seems like a few odd bugs that make it unusable:

first and most obvious is that it seems to save a very low res image.

i have 2 styles:
- Crop and scale manually 320x160 (crop minimum dimensions and only scale if cropped)
- Resize 960x480

the original image is 960x40 and even if i set to max crop (i.e. the entire original) then the saved img is very low resolution.

also, this is somewhat intermittent. if i delete and re-add; sometime the image is correct

although, my guess is that the times it works is likely the time that i saw when i re-edited the page it lost the crop and i had to repeat.

The images are created using the image style functionality provided by the Drupal core. You can change the quality settings for these images at http://yourdrupalsite.com/admin/config/media/image-toolkit

I don't fully understand your second issue, could you explain it some more? Also please verfiy that your browser isn't serving cached images (which could lead to faulty dimensions).
