I've been trying to get this set up on my site for a few hours now.

I've come to the realization that it's actually not possible to use this module on Drupal 7 at this time.

After installing this module (and the Keyword Research Google) and going to the configuration page at: /admin/config/search/kwresearch, you end up with a message, "No keyword statistics sources have been enabled. To access keyword popularity data enable a data source such as the Keyword Research Google (Keyword Research sub-module), Scribe SEO, WordStream, Wordtracker modules."

I'm not sure what i could be doing wrong with the Keyword Resarch Google module because it's enabled and I'm still getting this message.

As for the others, there is no way to set them up.

Scribe SEO: http://drupal.org/project/scribeseo - No Drupal 7 version and only 157 sites using this module in its Drupal 6 release.

Wordstream: http://drupal.org/project/wordstream - No longer supports Drupal. From http://www.wordstream.com/keyword-tool-api-drupal,"WordStream has enjoyed supporting the Drupal community, but as of September 2012, we are no longer accepting new registrations for our free keyword API. We direct you to the other available Drupal module plug-ins for your keyword research needs: http://drupal.org/project/kwresearch. Existing free API users will be supported through February 2013."

Wordtracker: http://drupal.org/project/wordtracker - No Drupal 7 version and only 4 sites using this module in its Drupal 6 release.

Am I wrong? Or is this module currently useless for Drupal 7?

I have the same problem I cant get the keyword research module working. I have come to the same point as you. What is the state of the project?

And I think you are not wrong:)

The same happens here: unable to put it up and running in D7.

Porting to D7 for all SEO Suite from Level10 seems pretty abandoned right now , no contribs since more than 1 year ago. It's a pity, as it had the appearance of being a very powerful tool...

Yes,
This would be great... if it worked :-)

Have you tried with alpha4?

dshields’s picture

No.
This issue was posted before the release of alpha4

@dshields Yeah, I know. I wanted you to confirm whether you are experiencing the same problems with the new release :) If you are, please set it back to active and explain the new findings. If not, please set it to fixed.

Sure
I'll try to test it in the next few days and get back to you

Version: 7.x-1.0-alpha3 » 7.x-1.0-alpha4

I have the same problem with both 7.x-1.0-alpha4 and 7.x-1.x-dev. Not sure if it's related but I'm seeing this error:

Notice: Undefined index: kwresearch_adult_filter in kwresearch_analyze_js() (line 860 of /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/domain/sites/all/modules/kwresearch/kwresearch.module).

Same here. Still no solution... module abandonned ? (would be great to update the module page if it is...)
