I am looking to help someone in any way
I have a journalist background but that may not be why you will find me useful.
Perhaps my help would involve the administrative side or to build the content or participation of your site in some way.
Payment can be based on results or perhaps help in the development of my drupal site but i will leave this open for the time being
Thanks

What kind of help did you
What kind of help did you have in mind?
We are looking for somebody to build an online community (social network) for ourn non-profit project - IT part. Journalist background is welcomed :)
How i may be useful
My imediate reaction is that I can see that a social network it needs people participating without involving too much effort on their side.
At the same time they can see that they get results pretty easily and find it satisfying too.
Plus blogging is found to be very therapeutic (scientifically) if you have this aspect in your web site.
So i would say that I can be a a member or two members of your social network, and create content and exemplify what they have to do, and then i can perhaps suggest ways to you that will make it more exciting for them.
So in short I can create useful and interesting content.
Then i can examine how it can be made even better.
I can also find people to use it.
how does that sound?
Thanks
Sounds great
That sound great! The thing is, our project won't be online until end of this year.
Secondly, since we are still considering which program to take to build the network (alternative Joomla), you will probably not be interested, if we decide for alternative of Drupal?
Thanks for reply.
It would be great if you
It would be great if you could share your findings on Drupal/Joomla. Your decision might be specific to your project, but these evaluations are super useful for other newcomers.
How do you find that out, if
How do you find that out, if you are not an IT? I read few forums, and opininons are in fawor for one or another. We tend to give the developmnet out to some company and right now we have 2 offers - one with Plone and one with Joomla. Second possibility is to engage friends and cooperate with a company. A friend of mine who is working with us on this project, told me, that there are not many members of Drupal community who would support the develeopment of online network. Although we are planning to move to London after online start.
Too much to think about :(
Sorry, I meant enough
Sorry, I meant enough members of Drupal community in Slovenia ...
