Htmlmail refuses hardly, even when deleting the module

Hy people,

I have a really strange problem:

I'm using Htmlmail with commerce mail. I uploaded everything to my folder and activated. Now I'm not able to rewrite the suggested htmlmail--htmlmail.tpl.php in my template folder. So I tried for 2 days to set different options, no results. Because I was stuck I tried just to remove the whole htmlmail module from the folder to see what happends, but instead of getting a crash (and yes I always cleared the cache.) htmlmail still works.

I tried to find maybe another copy of htmlmail in other module folders, as I'm using the latest drupal commerce contrib. But no success.

I'm stuck and need urgent help here.
