I'm using blog and comment module.

Guests are allowed to comment blog posts. But the "New comment" link only appears if there is at least 1 comment. When there is no comment the link will not be shown.

I have got a view to display all blog posts with the comment link at the end of each post. This view is displayed on a page (type page) as block by page wizard from panels module.

Does it not work correctly because of this combination?

Are you using any kind of custom theme? Running 7.20 with Bartik and those modules, I am seeing the expected functionality.

I'm using Adaptive Theme. But where's the relationship between theme and content types? I thought layout things and system things are separated from each other...
