The close button on modal dialogs is off center a couple pixels southwest when it is not being hovered over. When it is hovered over it is in the correct position. You can see this in action with #1821548: Add a "diff" of some kind to the CMI UI.

@YesCT I have read the parent issue but I am not being able to reproduce.

Can you give some additonal info?

I tried to reproduce it (open several modal dialogs) but the button always is in the correct position.
