Calendar master for overseeing all events

It's pretty common for communities to have one person, or perhaps a small team of people, responsible for overseeing all aspects of events. It would be nice for those communities to have a role that is responsible for publishing and unpublishing events but not other content types. Perhaps this could work with the new content review module somehow, and we could offer a setting that would create an "Event master" role that could oversee all events but no other content types.
