Hi,
I'm using using taxonomy_term as groups and i wanted to use og_menu for these groups but the current version of og_menu only works for node group type. So i made a patch to add this feature, hope it will be usefull.

rv0 CreditAttribution: rv0 commentedthere's 2 places you can edit a menu
Both use the same submit function, but those from the admin interface dont have the group type available.
So this needs work.

mattew CreditAttribution: mattew commentedThis bug only occur on menu creation. And in this patch, this two og_menu_update_menu() function call are the only place where the group type 'node' is hard-coded as third parameter for the function.
We use this fix since more than a year on a production website, without issue.
Attached, the updated patch for the 3.0 (stable) release.
