Occasionally locations need to be re-geocoded even though addresses have not changed. And admin function could be very useful.

Or maybe a bulk operation in the content or users lists?

But yes, very useful for development purposes or in the event of issues like the one we've struggled with in the last week or so. Fully support this idea.

I found it easier to export from Drupal 6, geocode with listcleanup.com, then import into Drupal 7
