Have a situation, where hierarchical selects are a bit not to the task, is there a way to do this with Conditional fields module?

Situation:
Have a dependee select field populated with taxonomy terms - term1, term2, term3, term4...
If the term1 selected - then dependant select field is filled with terms form "1" vocabulary.
If the term2 selected - then dependant select field is filled with terms form "2" vocabulary.
and so on...

Ideal case if dependant could be filled with term1, term2 children.

Is it possible with Conditional field?

Yes! This is a must have.
Or having it work with content types.
If contenttype1 entity reference is selected, then show contenttype2 entity reference.

PlayfulWolf did you find a solution for this?

no, the only thing I have managed is the "workaround" with SHS or buggy HS module

Thanx for the reply PlayfulWolf,
Do you know if SHS and HS work with content types? Or do they only work with taxonomy?

Seems like the work done from https://drupal.org/project/dependent_fields should be merged into this module as dependant fields hasn't been updated to D7 and would be a welcome addition to this module

#5 interesting! Would love to see an issue for a newer version of this project if this isn't implemented yet. +1 Apart from that:

Thanks for the report and all the efforts in here. But due to inactivity in this issue for some years and because of the upcoming EOL of Drupal 7, I will close this issue on the way by cleaning up the issue queue.

Feel free to re-open as "Needs review" if you found a solution or have a patch to be reported to help others on this outdated version.

If you think this issue or missing feature should be addressed in a newer Drupal core 8 and above compatible version of this project, then please file a new issue to the latest dev.
