slideshow not working as slide

After the quick configuration in 10 steps the slideshow is projected as single photos and text column/ doc attached.
Implemented actions:
Step 1 & 3: installed and enabled the modules, incl plugin.
Step 2: Use slideshow theme "uprightextra50p" which is visible & selectable in the display mode (step 9.3).
Step 4: created content type for the mentioned fields.
Step 5: created nodes.
Step 6: for settings block & page display, doc attached. Note: when selecting "and/or, rearrange" under "sort criteria/filter" and try to delete following comment appears: Page not found. The requested page "/javascript%3Avoid%28%29" can't be found.
Step 7-10 implemented as mentioned.

Where did it went wrong and what to do to get the slideshow up and running?
