As others have said - an excellent theme, and my thanks indeed :-). However, for my present purpose, I don't actually want or need a slideshow at the top of the page. I want a single static image. I'ts probably glaringly obvious, but is there a setting in one of the slider config files that would allow this? I've looked, but I can't see one standing out. On the other hand, that's probably me not knowing what I'm looking for (blush).
