Not sure if this is a recent change in the twitter api (it wouldn't surprise me...) but in the most recent code on 7.x-1.x, clinking on a hashtag in a tweet takes you to http://search.twitter.com and passes the hashtag string in as an argument. This no longer works, but the same code works on http://twitter.com.
Patch will be posted shortly.

yanniboi CreditAttribution: yanniboi commentedI also found a reference to http://search.twitter.com on line 44 of twitter_block.class.php, but I am not sure if these needs to be changed. Hashtag links work with the attached patch. Feel free to correct me.

Devin Carlson CreditAttribution: Devin Carlson commentedWith the Twitter API v1 going away (see #1933164: Twitter API v1 is going away on May 7) Twitter Block 1.x will no longer function after June 11, 2013. A new 2.x version of Twitter Block has been released (see the release notes) which utilizes Embedded Timelines.
As Twitter Block 2.x uses a different API and shares little code with the Twitter Block 1.x, existing issues no longer apply.
