Hello. How do I create sub categories for communities? I want to create communities with at least 3 tiers? Thanks.

Not entirely sure I understand what you're asking for here...is this a request for "communities within communities"? Maybe creating a taxonomy vocab per community? For either, can you describe your particular use case a bit more?

Yes. Communities within communities. For example, City Location > Art Categories > Art Sub-Categories. I have been creating some Taxonomy vocabularies. But I think I have an issue changing the Community Content Fields, which is used when a new community is create. I want to add the categories for each city location. Meanwhile, how does one access the sub categories within a community? ( I am still learning how to use drupal. Opted to use this CMS since my work likes to use it over other CMS)

Ok, I was able to figure out how to create communities within communities using taxonomy vocab. It took some trial and error and little extra reading about taxonomy to fulling understand it. I was lucky enough to understand how the URL of each category would appear. So first, I created taxonomy vocabulary list for each community. Then I edited the structure of the Community content fields to include entity reference. Next, I created a community choosing the taxonomy vocab for that particularly community. Next, I changed the structure of the Discussion content fields to include Term Reference. Next, I created a discussion to test out and choose the sub-category in the dropdown box. Here's an example of the URL for a subcategory: mywebsite.com/community/ne-florida/audio/songwriter/topics
