Drupal is sending an email to the admin user whenever someone logs in (even the admin user), informing the admin that there's a new drupal version. On every login! Where do I disable that email? 7.17

Report > Updates > Settings.

This is not normal, sounds like a bug. But of course you should apply updates, there have been important security updates to core (and to Views and Ctools) since you last updated.
